Emerald City Comic Con

So, I had just discovered on Wednesday that Emerald City Comic Con was happening this weekend, and unfortunately, but the time we got tickets, we could only get them for Friday. Saturday, Sunday, and the three day passes were all sold out.

However, it was worth it, even if going for just one day. Saw lots of great cosplay, got a couple of photos with celebs, a couple autographs, and saw lots of cool stuff. Pictures below.

Harley Quinn
Starting with the Cosplay, there were some great Cosplays going on. I had been hoping to see the Dragonborn, or Borderlands, or Silent Hill, but didn't see any. The husband told me that there was a girl who had attempted Max Moxxi, but had attempted it poorly, which was disappointing.

One of the main things I wanted to see was the collection of Legos. Hobbiton, the Port from Star Trek, the Batcave, Hogwarts, the Battle on Hoth, were all there, and all built with Legos.

The Celebs were something else I was looking forward to. Unfortunately, Carrie Fisher had cancelled her entire appearance, and Sir Patrick Stewart was only appearing Saturday and Sunday. But Friday held guests such as Misha Collins, Christopher Lloyd, Natalie Tena, Billy Dee Williams, Adam West, Burt Ward, and more.

All in all, it was a great experience, especially for our first ever Comic Con, so it's definitely something we plan to attend in the future. And next year, given if I've dropped the weight necessary, I'd try to dress up and pull off a proper Mad Moxxi. ;)
